8. Utilize BFA/CSI Materials Keynote System & database to create detailed keynote list which is linked to comprehensive specifications and cost estimating systems.

PROJECT QUALITY PLAN
1. Scope - verify compliance with project goals and program.
2. Basis of Design - must be consistent with owner’s facility standards, Guide Specifications, exterior architecture, energy conservation, day lighting performance, design for disabled and general architectural guidelines.
3. Codes - check for compliance with codes & local ordinances.
4. Design Choices - for consistency with #2 and constructability.
5. Single Designer Discipline Checks for calculations, completeness and excellence.
6. Cost versus Budget - check using detailed cost estimates.
7. Value Analysis - study cost-benefit and life cycle costs.
8. Drawing Systems - for completeness and spec system “recommended information on the drawings”.
9. CADD Standards - for layering and graphic standards.
10. Specifications - for completeness and consistency. Interdisciplinary Coordination Checking - complete overlay review of construction documents for conflicts and connections between each design team participant.
