PERSHING COUNTY COURTHOUSE RESTORATION
When the original concrete steps to this historic De Longchamps structure began to crack they were covered with red brick. We prepared a restoration plan for Pershing County which investigated the scope of the cracking problem, estimated the costs, and suggested a process for restoration. The County Commission accepted our recommendations and completed the project. The original concrete steps were refinished to original appearance using new polymer concrete coatings. Since then, we have completed a number of assessment and planning projects on the building including a re-roofing study and a space planning study to move half of the County departments out of the building.

PERSHING COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING
This 6,000 SF structure, constructed in 1947 as a food market, was declared a contributor to the historic character of Lovelock, Nevada. Barada-Fuetsch designed a reconstruction of the building as a contemporary office building for County offices. The exterior was designed to compliment the adjacent historic courthouse and US Post Office. Funding was provided through the USDA-Rural Development loan program. All improvements were approved through the state department of historic preservation.
