Barada-Fuetsch completed six delivery orders under this $200,000 contract. Projects include the following:
1) expand the Silver State (officers) Club bar, the only remaining Navy bar visited by every naval aviator;
2) the complete renovation of the base movie theater to address accessibility and accommodate contemporary projection technology;
3) the installation of a water slide and replacement of the translucent roof/wall system on the base pool natatorium;
4) the survey and upgrading of the runway lighting power systems;
5) an 1800 sf supply office building addition for the base supply warehouse and
6) an 1,800 sf base pest management facility designed to safeguard the health of the employees and contain any pesticide spills.

Silver State Officers Club
A dynamic new entry simulating an aircraft approach pattern leads through a new entry to a new round bar which is symbolic of the time aviators spend at NAS Fallon. The new bar is protected by five foot models of F-14's circling above. The exterior walls of the expanded room provide space for unit emblems and photographs; memorabilia of the brief time aviators spend in training at Fallon. A single pair of model F-14's headed away symbolize departure. The project added 1,800 sf of new space including new accessible toilet rooms for the building. Another 8,200 sf of space including the club entry, hallway and multi-purpose lounge were renovated.

Pool Natatorium Rehabilitation
This 16,800 sf natatorium, constructcd in 1976, has suffered greatly from exposure to desert wind and sand. The translucent roof and wall panels have discolored and delaminated. This project will replace the translucent roof and wall panels, rehabilitate the operable roof sections, replace the built-up roof over the bathhouse and add a 12' water slide to the pool.

Movie Theater
The existing 4,000 sf building was totally gutted and rebuilt to accommodate up-dated projection equipment, ADA accessibility, a continuously sloped floor, new toilet rooms and a concession sales area. Minimal existing mechanical and electrical systems were replaced with safe, efficient new systems. New exterior graphics and lighting announce to the base that this is a theater worth a visit.
