Gardnerville, Nevada

The Carson Valley Market is a convenience store and gas station at the entry to the Carson Valley RV park in Carson City, Nevada. This store was the first of many convenience stores designed by Barada-Fuetsch Architects.
The market was designed to complement the image of the Carson Valley Inn so as to take advantage of their established image. Wood shakes and siding, and the stone veneer base are more luxurious materials that are usually used on convenience stores, and add to the street appeal. Walk in cold display cases and limited fresh deli food service is offered within the store along with displays of dry goods.
