Reno, Nevada

We converted this 1910 shingle style house into a contemporary office building while preserving the history. On the outside, the plantings and finishes where renewed. A parking lot was added at the rear. The original configuration and finishes were preserved. Inside, only a fireplace, kitchen appliances and closet were removed. A new grounded electrical system augments the original "nob and tube" wiring. A new heating and air conditioning systems was carefully installed. The original stone foundation was re-grouted and re-built where disassembled.
